February Class Schedule

Happy February everybody I hope that this finds you all well and sewing away.  Do you have a special friend that you need to make a gift for?  You want to make her something different, something that she might not make for herself right?  Well I have the classes for you.  I have found such neat patterns in my search for that great gift giving experience.

I hope to see you all at the Sew Sistahs’ classroom real soon.  We really have such a great time together laughing, story telling, eating and sewing.  We feel it is a good outlet for us to just let loose and share some quality time with each other.  What is also nice is that wonderful friendships are being formed which to me is the best of all.

I just want to take a minute to thank you all for supporting me in this stage of my life and teaching me something new every time that we meet.  I have enjoyed each and everyone of you and look forward to the classes to come.

Miniature Bow-Tie Quilt

miniature bow tie quilt

10 – 1 pm & 5 -8 pm

25$ class fee

Pattern is from 3 Times the Charm by Leisure Arts (can be purchased at amazon.com)and JoAnns carries it sometimes, it is a great book to have in your collection.  I will be doing some other quilts from this book also so keep your eyes out for sweet charm packs.

This quilt is a cute as can be.  Would look great on any coffee table or on any wall.  I love to display mine on the backs of chairs, on my coffee table, on my buffet, on a wall on the back of a toilet, I just love them anywhere and everywhere.

Supplies Needed:

  • 1 charm pack or 36 assorted 5″ squares
  • 7/8 yard white/light fabric for blocks and borders
  • 1-1/8 yard backing fabric 40″ x 40″ piece of batting
  • 1/4″ foot
  • sewing supplies

*Soft and Stable is a new product that is out that I absolutely love.  It gives all your projects that would usually use batting or fleece that professional look.  It doesn’t go limp after a lot of use either.  I made my bow tuck purse, wallets, and journal covers (to name a few) and the look is wonderful.  People comment on them all the time.  They always ask me if that is the new Vera Bradley line and I say,”No, it is the new Tracy Devlin Line.”  They look at me inquisitively  and then laugh.  If you cannot find it please let me know.  I will have some here that you can purchase if needed.

Thanks again for taking the time to read my blog and to get information about the classes.  I  truly appreciate each and everyone of you.  Have a great February and hope to see you all at the Sew Sistah Sew Studio.
